David Flindall

Web Developer

David is a front-end web developer who has been working in the industry for for 15 years, all the time enjoying the constantly changing technologies of the web and interpreting these into meaningful user experiences.

Pete Lewis

Design & Art Director

Pete has 15 years experience in graphic design for advertising and branding. He worked at Fallon and Lucky Generals as head of design managing a team of up to 12 people. Over the years he has worked for numerous clients including BBC, Tate, Wellcome Trust, Sony, Twitter, Nokia and Cadburys.

Rudi de Wet

Illustrator & Graphic Designer

Rudi specialises in hand drawn type and interior artwork. He was one of the founding members of the Am I Collective in 2005, a well-respected and highly sought-after creative studio. He then made the move to Melbourne, Australia where he started his own studio in 2008. He now lives in Cape Town where he runs the South African arm of Back to Front.

Joe Hedinger

Strategist & Editor

Joe focuses on understanding the people we make things for – to help you get the right stuff, to the right people, in the right way. He started at Fallon, and then had a stint at Albion, specialising in business strategy and innovation. More recently, he’s been at the BBC, advising commissioners on their competitive and cultural context, and helping product owners understand their users.

Aelia Youngs

Design & Art Director

Aelia specialises in brand identity. With over a decade of industry experience she has worked in global branding agencies to design icon Sir Terence Conran. Her client list includes: LOCOG 2012, Bentley Motors, BBC, Marks and Spencer and Greenpeace. She is also one half of Boom Blooms florists and an aspiring potter.

Gemma Exley

Digital editor, producer & writer

Gemma has experience in both publishing and broadcast for clients including BBC, ITV, ASOS, Topshop, Lacoste, Virgin Atlantic and Selfridges. Having been at the coal face of social media during several of the UK’s most watched live TV shows, she’s used to working at lightning speed, as well as strategising campaigns in the build up.

Ginny Pickles

Designer & Art Director

Ginny is a print and digital designer with over 13 years of experience in some of the most successful advertising agencies in London - JWT, AMV and Fallon. She has created brand identities and award-winning advertising campaigns on accounts such as Sony, Tate, Skoda, BBC, Eurostar and Cadbury to name but a few.

Hannah Coulson

Illustrator, painter & printmaker

Hannah studied Visual Communication at Royal College of Art, and has worked for the Drawing Center, the Campaign for Drawing and the House of Illustration. She makes cheerful collages, bold screen prints and expressive drawings for clients including the BBC, M&S, Habitat and Conran and Partners,. Hannah is an Associate Artist in the Tate St Ives Artists Programme, and co-leads ReachOutRCA.

Jack Barnes


Jack is a photographer with over 15 years commercial experience working for clients including BBC, ITV, Sky, Channel 4, Channel 5, Radio Times, Discovery Channel, Mute and Domino Records. Having previously worked as a picture editor, Jack has a strong awareness of client needs and working closely to briefs.

Film producer & Director Duo

A producing, directing duo with over fifteen years combined industry experience making short-form branded content for clients such as Nike, Converse, Casio G-Shock, Innocent Smoothies, Guinness, Clash Music and Atlantic Records.

Lucas Hunter aka Planetluke


Lives in Berlin by way of Sheffield and London. Born in 1980, the year of the monkey. Prefers 1970s New York Transit graffiti, lo-fi fuzz and going against the grain. Appropriates regularly and is rarely satisfied. Heroes include Ian Mackaye, A Guy Called Gerald and Daffy Duck when he's mad.

Matt Boyce

Cartoonist, Illustrator & Teacher

Matts work has been featured in publications such as ImagineFX, Sleazenation, Accent UK and numerous fanzines, anthologies and comics. He teaches Comic Drawing, Graphic Novels and storyboarding for City Lit in Covent Garden. He has worked with the South bank Centre and Sarjakuvakeskus (Helsinki Comics Centre) and City Lit to deliver workshops in Comics and Animation for Children, Adults and Deaf People.

Paul Burgess

Web Developer

Paul is the owner of the Delarge web studio, whose clients include Moby, Röyksopp and Arsenal Football Club. He loves building websites that look great and are easy to use, with a focus on mobile devices and performance.

Steve Ryan


Steve is a food and portrait photographer with over 10 years experience. He's been fortunate to be commissioned by some of the most innovative food and media brands including Jamie Oliver, Diageo, Channel 4, Peroni, Movember Foundation, Vice, The Telegraph and The Guardian. Steve co-founded Root+Bone in 2013, a quarterly magazine exploring London’s food and drink culture, where he is contributing editor.

Writing Club


Writing Club is a writing agency with offices in London and Belfast. They don’t like smug jokes about grammar. They do like making word-based things happen for brands such as Atomic Skis, EE, Mavic, Virgin and Jameson Whiskey.

Wesley Merritt


Wesley Merritt can draw anything except mice. His work is playful, experimenting with vector, typography as well as ink line. His work has covered book cover design, exhibition catalogues and poster design to animation, storyboarding and editorial illustration. Clients include Vodafone, Penguin, The Guardian, GQ, Esquire and The Daily Telegraph among many others.

Dario Ferrando

Communication Designer

Dario specialises in work for digital products. He can design Icons, Websites, Apps and Interfaces. He has an a lot of interest in the Editorial Experience field but also likes to work with startups and cultural institutions.
