In 2017, Camden Council’s annual arts programme will celebrate the UK’s vibrant Indian culture: a year-long festival of events shining a spotlight on India’s colourful heritage, both within Camden and beyond.
We ran a naming workshop with the Camden team, and once we’d settled on Kalā, we set to work on a brand for the festival.
The versatile Kalā visual identity is designed to work across stationery, print, photography, video, social and digital platforms. The playful palette, sense of movement, and blend of the modern and traditional encapsulate a varied programme that explores dance, music, film, the visual arts and academia.
“Back To Front are a great collaborative organisation to work with, highly sympathetic to our guidelines and unique needs.”
Charlie Levine, Development Officer (Arts and Tourism), Camden Council
