After creating their logo, visual identity and tone of voice guidelines, PlayKinky asked us to help them launch their online sex toy shop. The company needed to stand-out and push boundaries, but stay true to their values of being tastefully sensual.

Our solution was a bold one: rather than create standard marketing assets like forgettable flyers or banal banner ads, we designed, art directed, edited and produced an 80 page sex toy lifestyle magazine.

The inaugural issue of Kinky Times was distributed at expos and shops throughout the UK, with further content developed for web platforms. It took an in-depth look at the psychology of sex, introduced the dark and delicious world of bondage, took a whistle-stop tour through the history of erotic fiction and met two New York artists blurring the worlds of sex and art.
