Founded by Jack Starks and Ed Sowerby in 2014, Writing Club is an agency that helps brands, organisations and agencies do better work through better words.
They asked us to create their visual identity and website, giving us a fantastic brief: come up with a logo that represents how the company works and flows.
Our solution was to make a simple logo that can interlink, grow and form one unified entity – coming in six colours that can interlock in numerous ways. Jack and Ed were very chuffed, so we went on to design and build writingclub.co.uk.
With a great partnership in place, we then helped Writing Club ramp-up their new business strategy. To make the company feel more like a club, we came up with the idea of making a limited edition enamel badge. These are now sent to new members (clients) as part of their ‘welcome pack’, attached to an invoice along with an enrolment number.
